BREXIT UPDATE FOR EU CUSTOMERS
We have had to make some changes to the way we ship to the EU following Brexit. EU customers will no longer be charged any taxes at checkout, however, VAT and any additional duties and charges will now be due once your order arrives at its destination.
Unfortunately we are unable to calculate exactly what these charges will be, they are your responsibility and out of our control. To ensure you don't receive any charges that you're not expecting, we recommend that you check with your local customs office before placing an order.
Please be assured that we are constantly reviewing our shipping methods to ensure the best customer experience and will notify you straight away of any updates.
SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
UK DELIVERY - DHL = £5.00 GBP
INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY - DHL = £25 GBP (FREE DELIVERY ON ORDERS OVER £200)
We aim to deliver your order to the place and person of your choice, in perfect condition and in the shortest possible time. Our delivery time starts from the moment payment for your order is processed and a further 24 hour period where your items will be dispatched by our warehouse during weekdays. Please note that this can take longer during our busy sale periods and national holidays, when it may take up to 48 hours for shipments to be dispatched. Orders placed over the weekend will be dispatched on the next working day.
The expected time for delivery may vary depending on the delivery destination. If you have not received your delivery after the expected delivery date, please email Customer Care at email@example.com and we will track your order for you.
Prices on our website are shown inclusive of UK VAT (value added tax) at 20%.
During the buying procedure, you will identify the destination country for the items. If outside the UK, VAT will be removed before payment.
All international deliveries are shipped on a DDU (delivery duty unpaid) basis, which means that once your order arrives at its destination you may be required to pay import duties, customs and local sales taxes levied by the country you are shipping to, in order to release your order from customs. These charges remain the responsibility of the customer, we have no control over them and cannot predict what they may be.
Please note that cross-border deliveries may be subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities. You are considered the importer of record for items you order through our website and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which the items are to be delivered.
COUNTRIES WE SHIP TO
JANE CARR ships to 170 countries worldwide. Deliveries within mainland UK, EU and the rest of the world will be shipped with DHL.
Unfortunately DHL have temporarily suspended shipments to Ukraine, Belarus and Russia, and we are therefore unable to accept orders to these countries.
From time to time, jane-carr.com will run free shipping promotions. To be notified of these and other promotions sign up to our email newsletter. Free shipping promotions will be applied to your order on the payment page once the valid promotional code is entered.
Each JANE CARR scarf is packaged in tissue and then in one of our signature boxes, which are not only beautiful but ideal for storage too. The items are then boxed in discreet cardboard boxes to ensure safe transit.
TRACKING YOUR ORDER
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive email confirmation of your shipping details and your airway bill number to track your package.
We will deliver the goods to the delivery address specified when you placed your order. Please be accurate when you give us your address details as we will not be liable if the address you have given is incorrect.
You have 14 days from our dispatch date to decide whether to keep your items.
We are delighted to offer FREE RETURNS AND EXCHANGES within the UK.
Unfortunately we are currently unable to offer free international returns or exchanges, therefore international customers will be responsible for the costs of returning items to us. However we will create the returns paperwork with DHL and send this to you by email to print. The postage costs will then be deducted from your refund.
Until we receive your item/s you are responsible for their safe keeping and taking reasonable care of them.

You will own the goods once they have been delivered to the address specified and when we have received cleared payment for the goods in full. Until that time then we will retain title to the goods.
Payment can be made securely online by Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Maestro cards. If you are shopping from outside the United Kingdom, when you place your order your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency.
